We’re proud to share that UGT-Group’s founder took first place in a startup competition focused on testing business ideas with real customers.
It started with real conversations
The winning concept, CyberShield 360, didn’t start with a pitch deck. It started with interviews. We sat down with three small businesses in Stokesdale, Greensboro and Madison, North Carolina, and asked what worries them most about their technology and security.
Their answers were clear: keeping customer payments secure, stopping phishing emails before someone clicks, and finding dependable IT help at a price a small business can actually afford.
CyberShield 360 was built around those answers. The goal is practical protection sized for small businesses: security checkups, staff awareness training, multi-factor sign-in and sensible access controls, without enterprise tools at enterprise prices.
What’s next
We’re now developing CyberShield 360 into a cybersecurity service offered through UGT-Group, and we’re looking for a small number of local businesses to join a pilot. If you’d like an early look, get in touch.
Thank you to the competition organizers and judges, and especially to the three business owners who gave their time and honest feedback. This win belongs to them, too.
